We had the pleasure of creating a 22 minute network pilot for EarthX TV.

This series joins our host David Holbrooke and iconic activist athletes as they uncover tangible solutions they’re implementing into their daily lives in an effort to create a sustainable future and ultimately save the places they love.

David Holbrooke is funny, affable and a consummate conversationalist. He’s also passionate about saving the planet. Through unfiltered conversations with some of the world's top outdoor athletes, we explore how these extraordinary humans are using the same grit and determination that made them elite athletes to make a difference in the places that they care deeply about. From the snow-covered mountains of Colorado to the fragile reefs of Australia and beyond, this series aims to capture the beauty of our planet, while lifting the athlete veil, and humanizing our heroes through the tangible passion-driven initiatives that they are spearheading.

Our goal is to make a relatable, entertaining, and hopeful series that empowers the viewer to make similar changes within their own life as our athletes lead by example. We see these icons take a step out of their extreme sports comfort zones to humbly learn how to most effectively make a difference; in big ways, small ways, and everything in between. While we all may not be able to drop cliffs and big wave surf, we can take the first step toward eliminating single use plastic from our lives, converting to solar power or voting for policy change. This series shows that on a human level we are indeed connected to these icons through our unified mission to create a better, more sustainable future and reminds us that we are all in this together.

This series has an immersive unrefined approach, we were focussed on creating an intimate human connection and covering the scene from multiple camera angles. We were less focused on capturing the most cinematic climbing, surfing and skiing moments and more concerned with being in the space with our athletes as they problem solve and navigate their activism role. We also created a visual appeal to place, capturing awe inspiring visuals of the natural world that captivates our audience and helps them fall in love with the environments these athletes hold so dear.
