The Red Bull Scramble series has been a compelling entry into series based storytelling for our team. The original conceit on this campaign was to follow unique and compelling characters at each stop of the event, lending our talents as documentarians and storytellers to unearth deeper emotions in a sport that is often only see as high-octane, loud and impersonal.
Comprised of 5 distinctly different races, the Scramble Series travels from the frozen lakes of Michigan to the knotted mountain slopes of Pennsylvania before heading out west to the Utah’s high desert dunes, Tennesses’s Smokey Mountains, and eventually, the sand dunes of Glamis in Southern California.
This series tested our teams ability to craft story beats sight on seen and brave treacherous conditions in pursuit of emotionally resonant imagery. Above everything else however, it taught us the endearing value of a cold, crisp, caffeinated beverage. Ladies and gentleman, it gives you wings. Enjoy!
